just call me Bad Canadian
On election day, I am going to do what I do every day: sit on my ass at home. Unlike in other ridings, I don't feel like the MP's give a rat's ass about me. I think all politicians are liars and criminals. I can't relate to the election issues, don't understand the difference between left and right, and even if I found a party that supports my beliefs, it'll be a cold day in hell before the promises are brought to fruition. That's why I don't vote.
This article says it a lot better than me.

Not voting because you believe all politicians are corrupt is a pathetic excuse not to waddle your ass out of bed and spend a little time at a voting booth.
Since you think all politicians are evil, do you believe the laws they help create are evil as well? Why do you bother to abide by the same rules everyone else follows if you didn't feel that you benefited in any way because of them?
For some reason, I think that if Axl Rose became a Canadian citizen and ran for PM, your interest in politics would suddenly become more aroused. The people involved in your election may be boring as hell, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't show at least a little bit of interest in them.
