It's how you feel, stupid

This article, point #3 especially, is pretty close to the mini-epiphany I had today at lunch. I'm pissed off about being unable to maintain my goal weight, then the proverbial light bulb went off in my head and I thought, "I work out on a regular basis, and I eat healthy about 85% of the time. That's probably better than about 90% of the North American population. Maybe I should just chill out."

I've been hearing that it's not all about the number on the scale for years, but perhaps it is starting to sink into my stubborn brain.

Stupid and feeling stupid are two diffrent things. It is my theory that smart people, caring people, and above all good people generally act stupid to benifit the better of mankind. When in fact people whom are plain stupid are not aware of their ignorance and manifest their ignorance without hesitation of any kind of forthcoming awareness. We all act stupid at times in order to help others feel better. We do this because we have careing hearts and are intelligent. I hope I have given you a little bit of hope to act stupid and be ok...Sometimes acting stupid helps us survive those whom smuther us with ignorance.....There is no shame in acting stupid. Those who pretend to have intelligence and are indeed ignorant are the most shamefull of all. It sounds to me like you are doing the best you can with what you have. Results will apperar for the good if that is what you intend. Don't forget to remind yourself to act stupid once in a while because there is too much stupidity these days not to. Take care
