review: Sprite Ice
![]()
Tried some Sprite Ice last night after seeing it at the grocery store. Advertised as "lemon-lime mint flavoured soda", it tastes like Sprite flavoured mouthwash or regular Sprite after brushing your teeth. However, it is quite refreshing.
I give it :spork :spork :spork/5

Haven't seen this stuff. Suppose it would be good to wash down those reverse Oreos with...why do these people feel the need to improve on a good thing?

its everywhere in Syd, Australia. I like it tastes very nice, chilled its really refreshing with bubbles and mint,
i agree use mouthwash then drink normal sprite and its the same, but still addictive! :grin

I have a nearly full can of it sitting in my garbage can at work. Absolutely, the worst pop I've ever had. :canada

I found it while on a trip in Canada. I thought it might be a regional name for Sprite Remix, but oh my surprise when I detected the mint flavor. I hope it gets to the states, but Americans tend to be fussy with stuff like this.

Just got back from Niagara Falls and fell in love with it. I too thought it was Canada's version of Remix. I need to find it in the states

Had it in Montreal this past weekend - it's fantastic. Reminds me of Tom Thumb Mint Ginger Ale, but with a lemony kick. Can't wait til it makes its way into the States...

Ugh!
I just tried this stuff tonight as I noticed it in the store next the the normal Sprite. It first tasted not bad, but what a horrid aftertaste!
I dumped what I had left soon after.
I'll stick to normal Sprite and Canada Dry.

Sprite ice is awful. I too have a nearly full bottle on my desk, I'm enouraging others to taste it so they don't bother buying it themselves. I'm washing it down with a root beer.
More annoying is that I went to the Coca Cola website to send them an email and apparently Canada doesn't exist outside the U.S. :canada
