Weekly Wrap-Up - Winter Wonderland
1. What's the best part about winter overall? Why? The worst? Why?
The best part of winter is freshly fallen snow that adds so much to the feeling of Christmas throughout December. The WORST is dirty, brown slush soup.
2. Do you like snow? Why or why not?
Most (if not all) Canadians say they hate winter and snow, but I think it's part of our national identity, because we also tend to say we like to have four seasons, otherwise things get too boring. So I'll say, yeah, I like snow, just not too TOO much of it.
3. Have you ever traveled to get to (or away) from winter weather? Why? Where did you go?
I wouldn't say that we were 'getting away' from winter weather. It's more like, we're going on vacation and it just happens to be while it's cold in Toronto. We went to Orlando once in March and to Arizona once in November.
4. Do you like winter sports? Why or why not? What kinds do you like/dislike?
Oh I :hearts winter sports! HOCKEY :puck :fight I like to skate, and I like watching winter sports like figure skating on TV too. Which is why I prefer the Winter Olympics as well.
5. Describe your earliest or most favorite winter memory.
Waiting for the bus in -40˚C temperature, age 3, Edmonton. :cold That's my earliest memory. Definitely NOT my favourite!
