Firsts

If there were more kids living nearby, I'd have been sitting at the window this morning watching them head off to school.

Driving to teach today, it's just another day for me. It's still a foreign to wake up on Labour Day and not have a sense of dread and apprehension over the impending school year.

I'm rememberizing about other first days today...

Grade 1 - cried because I couldn't find my way OUT of school after the day was over.

Grade 7 - thought we were l33t

Grade 9 - it RAINED, my gawd did it ever rain! Memories of getting off the bus looking like a drowned rat.

university - I didn't meet you until the 2nd day.

teaching at OCOM - Paul tried to drive me nuts! :spork
